Transcending traditional Klezmer with the added artistry of classic music and the freedom of Jazz, Brave Old World is forging a "New Jewish Music" out of the old Yiddish vernacular. Featuring vocalist and violinist Michael Alpert (Kapelye), Alan Bern (Klezmer Conservatory Band, Kapeley) on accordion and piano, Kurt Bjorling (Klezmatics) on clarinet and Stuart Brotman (Ellis Island Band, Ry Cooder) on bass. This is like the Beatles of Klezmer... and must hear!!!!
