These albums, forming a conceptual trilogy, are herewith brought together on one release for the first time. Three bonus tracks were added to each album, and in addition the first two albums were remastered by Einar "Eldur" Thorberg Gudmundsson. The artbook contains 60 pages and impresses at first glance with it's hardcover, which is finished with golden hotfoil. The content of the artbook includes introductions by Kari Palsson and Einar "Eldur" Thorberg Gudmundsson, all lyrics in original language and in English translation, essays on the band's history and numerous visual material from each creative period of Fortid. "Völuspá" is an impressive monument to these milestones of Icelandic Pagan Black Metal, which honors the importance of the first three Fortid albums.

Track List

CD1 Into Battle

Til Orustu

An Ode to the Raven

Krummavi-Sur

Ymir's Death

Daudi Ymis

Creations

Skapanir

Birth of Men

Faeding Manna

Thor's Anger

Reidi Thors

The Past

Fortid

Krummavi-Sur (Remix)

Daudi Ymis (Remix)

Reidi Thors (Remix)

CD2 Bifrost

Odin's Sacrifice

Forn Odins

Baldur's Murder

Mord Baldurs

World of Hel

Helheimur

The Arrival of Fenris

Koma Fenris

Nastrond

The Presence

Nutid

Forn Odins (Remix)

Helheimur (Remix)

Koma Fenris (Remix)

CD3 Ancient Halls

Fornir Salir

Ragnarok Army from the East

Austursins Heimsenda Her

Fall of the Ages

Fall Aldanna

Equilibrium Reclaimed

Jafnvegi Endurheimt

New Dawn

NY Dogun

Heltekinn

The Future

Framtid

Sorgarsongur

Fall Aldanna (Live 2010)

Heltekinn (Live 2010)

Shop online 24/7 at Darkside Records.

Follow us on Instagram.
